Footnotes to the Absurd
At an October 19 Kansas rally, Trump claimed Roger Marshall was legally required to pursue patients over unpaid medical bills. CNN’s fact-check found no law required Dr. Marshall to sue his patients and noted that hardship waivers are permitted in qualifying circumstances. The cartoon targets the transformation of a political defense into imaginary law. Dialogue is invented satire.
